About Mr.GOGO
I’ve spent my entire life in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Not as a tourist, not as a visitor — as someone who has watched this city change, block by block, decade by decade. I’ve seen neighborhoods transform, old spots disappear, and new ones take their place. And through all of it, I’ve stayed right here.
Most travelers who come to Korea follow the same path — the guidebook spots, the Google results, the places that show up on every “Top 10 Seoul” list. That information isn’t wrong. But it’s incomplete.
I know this because I’ve walked foreign friends through streets they never would have found on their own. And every single time, the reaction is the same — surprise, delight, and the feeling that they’ve seen something real.
That’s why I started Publica.
My goal is simple: to share what I actually know about Seoul and Korea — the places, the culture, the moments that don’t make it into the brochures. Where I have firsthand knowledge, I’ll give you that. Where I don’t, I’ll do the research and find you a proper answer.
The famous landmarks? Google has those covered. Come here for everything else.
If you have questions, feel free to send me an email. I’ll do my best to get you the answer you’re looking for.
